About the Artists

 

Christina
Robertson


Attended the San Francisco
Art Institute from 1965 to 1969,
studied painting and graduated from
Humboldt State in 1972.

Mastered glass fusing
and the art of stained glass at the 
Pilchuck School in Washington.

She has been engrossed in
stained glass for many years
and has accomplished
many architectural installations
in homes throughout
the United States.

She and her husband, Cliff,
have a studio in Oregon
and are primarily concentrating
on glass fusing and
smaller glass projects. 

Valerie
Steinbeck-Hernandez


Graduated from University of
San Francisco in 1972
earning a BA in fine art.

Studied both jewelry
making and weaving in
Arizona with Navajo's.

Taught jewelry, lost wax casting
and fabrication in both high school
and adult education.

She has completed many
commissioned works for
quite prominent clients
and has won many
local and national awards in silversmithing, painting
and weaving.
